the version 1 of this video has like tons of neal schon and people suggested to toned it down so i did, i replaced it with the video of arnel in his planet hollywood gig and on the middle part of the vid i replaced his solo pic to a group pic where randy jackson is included but yeah your right the last part has all the group except for neal, kinda weird hehe maybe in version 3 =)
Loved the video. Thank you. But same observation. Neal Schon is not in it enough. He is truly the heart and soul of this group. With his passion for music and the band he founded, he kept it going through probably tough times. Jeff Scott Soto was in so briefly, probably one photo of him. He was more of a fill in. And a lot more of Neal. Remember, Neal is who believed in Arnel. Off that little youtube screen, there was no way to tell if Arnel had all the other criteria beyond a great voice. For example, having the stage presence before 20,000 Journey fans, et cetera. But I truly believe even before Arnel arrived and passed so many stages of the audition that Neal Schon already in his heart knew he was the one. With the great writing of the music by Jon Cain and Neal Schon on Revelation and the tremendous voice of Arnel to showcase it, they are brilliant. Arnel is the missing puzzle piece to this great band. So thank you for the hard work on the video, but on next one maybe more Neal. Great Job. Arnel, you are a Revelation. See you in Tampa
Sorry to critique your video again. Watched it again. I know you put so much hard work into it, but shouldn't have listened to other people and probably kept version 1. Besides the very beginning with Neal Schon, he's nowhere. It is kind of glaring. They really don't consider Jeff Scott Soto as a member of the band. Filled in on middle of tour when Steve Augieri's voice had infection. Very nice of him to do so. After tour, Neal S. announced they were making him permanent, but then backtracked. I think Neal realized he was the wrong fit and did not have the Journey sound. So he never made a record with them and only filled in, but you had 4 photos of him. Really Neal needs to be in middle and end. Without his brilliant guitar work and writing, Journey wouldn't have the sound it does. But still thank you, just maybe version. 3. Also nice to see you put Greg Rollie in there, great photos in early days. I didn't know the band that early, but have researched lately and have come to appreciate the music they made and will be making with Arnel.
thanks to all your replies, basically the concept of the video is a tribute to all the lead singers all the images that you see there are just randomly placed but arranged it in a way that it sequenced from the past up to the present, I didnt looked it the way you guys have seen it
