Welcome Friends and Families! Plokkers Rule!

You could not bring me to Manila for a wedding or for a birthday celebration nor for any occasion...not even a friend's invitation will make me fly to Manila...I am from Iloilo City;  I have a job and it's really difficult to take a leave of absence. I really have to make arrangements before I leave.  It's AP's magic that makes things change.I have lots to thank when the affair falls on a weekend or iwhen it falls on  a holiday. My friends were wondering before what makes me come back to Manila. Now, they understand and they don't ask. They even become fans of Arnel.

I was able to attend the Dec 2008 EB, the EB held at the Skyline, Arnel's Concert with Journey at MOA, the Grand EB lastJanuary 2010 at the Shangrila and last Saturday, his concert with Ammo at the Metro Concert Bar....All because of AP's magic in my life!

The happiness I get from meeting Arnel, his family,  and fellow plokkers is something I could not  exchange for anything else in this world...and the best thing is I am with my sister in this!

Thanks for AP's magic!

Hi Gina! Allow me to use your lovely name in my response to your wonderful concert and after-concert review!

I was almost out of breath after reading your review. Unknowingly, you have penned a dramatic plot of a musical drama but this time it happened for real!

I like your very picturesque narration which made me imagine vividly how the audience members looked like and how they were captivated by the great charisma of The Rockstar.

But it was your narration about Louise that tugged at my heart. It made the hairs on my arms stand reading about her "mission." It is my prayer that she was able to convey her message to Arnel.

Cancer patients usually have near-death spiritual experiences that inspires them to share this to people specially to their loved ones and to those who they deeply care about. I have a very strong feeling that the mission of Louise is to relay to Arnel a life-changing spiritual message.

I got excited reading these:

"One caucasian couldn't wait he crossed the far end (his group was seated at the other side) just to have pics with AP! Kakatuwa hitsura nya..."

"... we saw groups of friends, on their teens while others made it a family affair. Near our table was a family of 5. Kids were about 6-12 yrs old. But the youngest audience was a baby!"

"... what amazes me the most is how people get inspired by him...kakaiba ang karisma."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And then my mood became melo-dramatic when I read the last part of your narration.
"After the concert, there was one lady who approached me, her name is Louise. She told me about her coming all the way from Cavite with her daughter but she looked really young maybe just in her 20's and pretty (at mukhang well-off). She asked me if i can bring her to AP and Cherry for she wanted to personally deliver them her letter.
"She mentioned about being ill (and about a mission which she did not elaborate), in fact she's not allowed to stay outside for a long time. When she held my hand she was very cold. She removed her hood briefly and i saw her almost bald head. So i introduced her to Ate Miles and left her. Later Ate Miles told me, Louise has brain tumor, maybe on critical stage and she will bring her to AP and Cherry....
"I don't know what happened next. But all i know is Louise's mission whatever that is, has been accomplished."
Yes, Amba, unforgettable gid ya ang concert experience namon....hanggang pag uwi pinag-uusapan namin ni inday si louise...daw naluoy gid kami kay sobrang bata pa sya para magkasakit ng ganun...at first hesitant pa ko kay bal-an mo kon kis-a damo sira ulo di bala?...just prays na tani makarecover sya...
LOUISE
Louise has brain tumor, maybe on critical stage. ~ Miles
I have a very strong feeling that the mission of Louise is to relay to Arnel a life-changing spiritual message.
May God have mercy on Louise.
</ View of the crowd from the 2nd flr....it was a full house, all seats were taken but not overly crowded to make it a more intimate night...
Hi! I'm Irish and I share your feelings. It's nice to meet people that can understand the effect of AP's magic. His singing relaxes me...even if the song is hard rock it will still calm and soothes me. BTW what is EB?
You know Amba, maybe, my only regret going to the show was not having a nice pose with Arnel but everything that happened that night erased all my longings. It was a fantastic night. Gina and myself had a good view of what's happening downstairs. I was enjoying all the reactions and facial expressions of the fans down there; enough to make me happy and contented. There was this lady carrying a child in her hands standing by the stairs when the baby doll fell down from the hands of the child without her knowing it and hit the man down. I was laughing out loud because the mother didn't noticed it. She was all focused on Arnel....OMG!
Well done, Inday Gina! Thank you so much for sharing with us such an unforgetable experience.
Naga lumaw-lumaw man ang mata ko reading the last part re Louise from Cavite with brain tumor. You are one very lucky soul . . . of all people, she approached you . . . and you served as her "intercessor" to her mission. Wow!
Hello co-plokkers! Just would like to share my experience in the Metro Bar concert last Sat. Me and sis decided to leave early coz i didn't know West Avenue (taga-laguna ako eh). So by 6:30pm we're already at Quezon Ave, thought it was too early to go to Metro Bar so we had dinner first. By 7:30pm we were outside of the bar waiting for the gate to open. Got some video of the crowd and saw teenagers/barkadas patiently waiting, and some foreigners in front...maybe they were there much earlier. We were told to form 4 lines but u know its hard to control the crowd who's anxious to get inside. Met Justice and Tessang who greeted me warmly (buti naalala pa nya ako...hehe) while we exchanged our deposit slip to tickets. Once inside, i was asked if i'm a sponsor....i hesitated coz in my mind maybe i would be getting a good seat if i say yes but same time can't lie....so we were told to go upstairs. I later discovered that downstairs were reserved for sponsors of the concert. It wasn't bad to be seated on 2nd floor, in fact we find it a blessing coz we had a good view of the stage. And i think nobody knew except people on our place, that it was AP singing the intro of the first song live coz he was hiding at the side of the stage. So u would think it was still the cd playing.
Arnel and Ammo band were as usual a pleasure to the eyes and ears. These are musicians who are passionate about what they do. Arnel was a crowd pleaser! He even went upstairs and it was pandemonium. One caucasian couldn't wait he crossed the far end (his group was seated at the other side) just to have pics with AP! Kakatuwa hitsura nya...promise! We saw it coz it happened in front of our table. Looking around, we saw groups of friends, on their teens while others made it a family affair. Near our table was a family of 5. Kids were about 6-12 yrs old. But the youngest audience was a baby!....Arnel sang Alone to the prodding of the audience and i was so happy he did..it was one of my fave. He sang a medley of OPM songs too to the delight of the audience and it was sing along during Pain in my Heart. Just wish that next time AP sings "Too much love will kill You" he will relax a bit. Overall the singing was great....i overheard one foreigner telling another about the revelation album being "fantastic"...so proud of AP!
The singing is expected coz we all know how amazing talent AP is but what amazes me the most is how people get inspired by him...kakaiba ang karisma. hi marieta your story reminds me of an elederly lady who, together with her family, lined up to meet arnel after the show in atlantic city with rachel ann go last july 25th. she was in wheel chair and i was right behind them. while we were in hte queue, her son kept on asking me about arnel's life story, about aour country, etc. they were very chatty and i learned from them that their mom follows arnel whenever she can. it was very touching on how arnel could inspire her. it was an unusual sight to see somebody in wheel chair in a queue , waiting patiently just to meet arnel. i could only say " wow! what a charisma" btw i took a shot of the family ( the guy in polo shirt is one of the many who were fascinated by their eagerness to meet arnel)
