FORUM GUIDELINES
1. RESPECT must be observed at all times. Show respect for others'
views & opinions and it will be returned accordingly. Greet all
birthday celebrant always! (LOL)
2. NEWBIES must be respected and guided on the ins and outs of the
forum. Bullying will merit nothing but contempt and disrespect from
new members and we do not want that as a prevalent norm in this
forum.
3. GENERAL BEHAVIOR of forum users must adhere to the same
standards they follow in real life. Remember that it is impolite to
speak ill of someone especially in his/her absence. Equally it is
much better to share positive vibes within the forum and this can
be done by observing tolerance, understanding and forgiveness.
4. FORUM RULES is the fiber that keeps us together and everything
in order. To assume that seniority translates to special privileges
is a showcase of a flawed character. While a member’s history and
good standing can be a reference for moderators in judgment in
cases of disputes, all members are equal and must abide by the
forum rules irrespective of the number of posts and the date they
joined the board.
Our Rules
1. LANGUAGE FACILITY. The goal of this forum is to reach a global
audience. Therefore, posting in English in all parts of the board
is highly encouraged. Usage, however, of phrases/idioms in Filipino
dialects or any other foreign languages may be allowed SO LONG AS
THE SUBSTANCE OR THE MESSAGE OF EACH POST IS IN ENGLISH. This
leeway is observed to allow people to share their own way of
expressing or reacting to certain things/ideas that in most cases
are unique to their own language/dialect. In this process, this
forum will serve as a way for people to appreciate cultures and
their similarities/peculiarities. Of course, anyone may ask for
clarifications on vague/conflicting ideas and concerned posters are
enjoined to reply immediately.

2. USERNAME – Upon registration, forum members enjoy the right to
use a unique username of their own choosing. In the same vein,
usernames which are offensive and obscene will be deleted
arbitrarily. Also, having two or more usernames are not allowed and
moderators reserve the right to ban all usernames of any erring
member. Ditto, allowing your handle to be utilized by others or
using your handle by pretending to be someone else is strictly
prohibited.

3. AVATARS – We do encourage the usage of interesting and funny
avatars and all kinds of avatars are appreciated provided they are
not offensive and/or obscene. Avatars should be limited in size and
specifics as stipulated in forum.

3rd offense: 1-month suspension
4th offense: Banned permanently
4. POSTS –The following are not allowed inside the forum: gross,
vulgar, obscene, pornographic and inappropriate words, images or
links. Also, posting of any material which takes the same nature as
mentioned above are strictly prohibited. In the same way, posts
that are invasive of one’s privacy, copyright infringements or any
violation of existing national and international laws are strictly
prohibited. Take note that violators can be prosecuted by the
offending party/parties. Posts that are in discrimination of any
race, gender, sexual preference/orientation, religion, politics,
and the likes will be deleted. Posters and forum members cannot use
the forum as a platform for illegal activities.

5. SPAMMING – Spamming is not allowed in this forum. Forum members
must avoid clogging the site of non-sense, no-value posts within a
thread or across different threads. Also, unsolicited/unwanted
promotion of products and websites within the forum is plain and
simple spamming. This forum will not tolerate such activities.

6. MEMBERS’ IMAGES – Defiling, defaming, photo-chopping or any form
of disrespectful and offensive acts/comments towards any member’s
personal images or likeness are prohibited and shall be dealt with
extreme disciplinary actions.

2nd offense: 1-month suspension
3rd offense: Banned permanently
7. CAPS, LETTERS & SYMBOLS – As a general rule, please note
that bold and capital letters are used for shouting and is
considered as rude. Forum users must refrain from using capital
letters, excessive question marks (?), exclamation points (!), or
smileys in your title or post.

3rd offense: 1-month suspension
4th offense: Banned permanently
8. OFF TOPIC THREADS AND DISCUSSIONS - Unrelated and unwanted
discussions to the topic is discouraged and will be locked and
stricken out without warning. Accordingly, posts that are
completely off topic will be removed off hand. This also covers
posting of the similar messages in multiple forums.

3rd offense: 1-month suspension
4th offense: Banned permanently
9. FLAMING – Forum members are not allowed to retaliate, threaten,
air grievances or use the forum as a vehicle for disputes. Simply
put, "Flaming" will not be tolerated. While this forum welcomes
differing opinions, discussions and topics that are generally
offensive will be deleted and this also applies to defamation.
Forum users must refrain from instigating and engaging in flame
wars. They are encouraged as well to report troublesome posters to
moderators so actions can be meted out accordingly and
immediately.

10. SIGNATURE - Only one-liner or multi-liner signatures intended
as a tagline, are allowed as signature. They must be in good taste
and not vulgar nor offensive. No images nor links and BBCODEs are
allowed.

3rd offense: 1-month suspension
4th offense: Banned permanently
11. FORUM LABELS - Posters are enjoined to start threads or topics
carrying appropriate categories. Please ensure that the forum title
is correct prior to actual posting. Posts that veer away from this
regulation will either be moved, locked or deleted all together.
Ultimately, such repeated postings can be a ground for
suspension/banishment from the site.

12. MODERATORS – As moderators’ hands will at times be full to
catch every single violation, problematic posts and posters must be
reported by forum members. You may send a PM to any of the
moderators for this purpose. The moderators reserve the right to
edit, delete, lock and move any post/thread as may be necessary.
Also, they can make special rules for special cases, whenever
deemed necessary, given it does not violate any existing forum
rules. Should any member has a case against a moderator and intends
to plea his/her case, he/she can PM that Mod or any other Mods and
argue his side. The issue at hand will be discussed and settled by
the Moderators in private.
Violation of any/all of the above rules may result in warnings or
banishment of the violator from the Forums. Penalties for
disciplinary offenses will fall within the ranges stipulated. In
certain circumstances, depending on the gravity and/or nature of
the offense, a penalty may either be more or less severe than what
is indicated herein. Moderators reserve the right to ban/suspend
members without warning in view of excessive violation too
excessive. These rules are subject to modifications, revisions,
and/or amendments in the future, as the moderators deem fit and
necessary.
