sorry Kathy I just opened today this site, I wished I met u yesterday :(, but we will in the future, AP's other events, thanks for inviting me to be your friend.
Hi Kathy, I just saw your inquiry from the Forum about the UK link
For me, IMO I wouldn't recommend to open nor to download anything from the Web If we're not too familiar with it. They're just too risky, It may cause your browser or computer to crash. If I happen to find a link for the Live Streaming of BBC Breakfast for Friday, I will post it on the Forum but for the meantime, here's what I've found from the BBC program website:
Rights agreements mean that BBC iPlayer television programmes are only available to users to download or stream (Click to Play) in the UK. However, we are aware of demand for an international version.
Most radio programmes are available outside the UK in addition to podcasts, although sporting and other programmes may be subject to rights agreements.
In addition, highlights from many of BBC News' programmes are available for viewers outside the UK, as is BBC Sport video content.
Do make sure you check for the latest updates on BBC iPlayer or contact your own country's broadcasters to find out if they offer a similar service to BBC iPlayer.
I see GiJoe has done a better job on YouTube postings... I've been using a smaller size than even the smallest specs.. YT gives ... just enter a smaller number e.g. 360 and YT will re-size for you ...
Hello Kathy and thanks for the friend invite. Here are some simple steps to post videos for the forum threads. I hope this helps.
1. Make a selection from Youtube of any videos you want to post then look for the "Grab" button underneath, make sure you check the "use old embed code" option. You'll see a bunch of highlighted codes like you see below.
2. Copy those codes and paste it to wherever you wanted to post it, either to Forum threads, your own page, etc ....
For YouTube videos.... try to check the box that says " use old embed code " and highlight the smallest size for videos ( smallest box on left ) ... by the way, all these will appear once you click on the box " embed " that usually sits at the bottom of the video you are currently viewing ...
Hope this helps.... anyway.. try it out and you can always delete what you post if anything doesn't work ...ning.com keeps changing under the goal of " improving ".. for now this is the way we post YouTube videos..
