A Goo-Goo Dolls original, Arnel performed "Iris" at a Natrapharm event held on May 17, 2009 at Libis, Quezon City. He was a guest singer of the Tres Band led by Mark Ramos, an OPM singer/songwriter from Bacolod City. Arnel's great confidence onstage is evident as he introduced Mark and the band. Arnel, truly a seasoned entertainer, easily banters with the crowd and sets an exciting atmosphere for the audience of mostly doctors from CGH. It is awesome to watch him transform into the great rock superstar that he is as soon as he hit the first note of "Iris." His electrifying energy instantly affected the audience and the Tres Band members. Watch how Mark responds to Arnel's signature mic flipping, headbanging and gravity-defying scissor kicks. The audience near the stage had a great time with Arnel showing lots of affection by kneeling down to them with his killer smile and cool rocker's hand gestures, letting them touch his hand, and take photos with him. He clearly loves his audience who loved him even more in return. He continued to amuse the audience even after singing. Not surprisingly, the audience couldn't seem to get enough of Arnel so when he was about to leave the stage, he urged them to get the party going by saying, "Sige na, sayaw na!" making them ready for the next performer of the night.
